This makes our packs the most water resistant, Burr proof, durable, and quietest packs available. We use the heaviest zippers available # 10 YKK coil zipper for main compartments, and #8 YKK Zippers for the pockets. We use YKK as they are the leader in the zipper industry and this is usually the first problem area a pack will have.

The Chinook was originally designed for backcountry Steelhead & Chinook fishing in Idaho where we had to walk long distances to our favorite fishing holes. It allowed us to pack in all of our tackle and then be able to pack out heavy loads of fish.
